PETER MCVERRY RECEIVES FUNDS FROM NO 1, HIT
Last February, before the COVID-19 pandemic had hit, The Wolfetones pledged to donate all funds from their UK and Ireland Number 1 "Come out ye Black n Tans" to the Peter McVerry Trust in aid of the homeless. 2020 sees The Wolfe Tones hopefully perform in seven consecutive decades: 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 00’s, 10’s and 20’s - all being well. Over 2019. they continue to grow with 17.5 million streams on Spotify! Thank you all for your support in keeping ballads alive and well on Spotify. Not bad for a bunch of rebel rousers from Inchicore!
LET THE PEOPLE SING!
We must continue to let the Irish ballad thrive and be sung: "Let The People Sing" written some 50 years ago remains even more relevant now.
