Congratulations Ireland on the historic Grand Slam win in Cardiff 21st March 2009. The Wolfe Tones were delighted to appear at CeltFest '09, an all day festival that coincided with the final game of the Six Nations Championship between Wales & Ireland in Cardiff! CeltFest was a huge sucess over 3500 people attented and the Tones were delighted to play along side such great welsh artists as CERYS MATTHEWS: One of Wales? - and Europe?s - most popular singers, the former lead singer of Catatonia.DAFYDD IWAN & BAND: Legendary Welsh folk singer and patriotic icon, Dafydd Iwan, who performed his most popular and rousing classic songs and we were trilled to share the stage with him for the Anthem's at Nights end. AR LOG: One of Wales?s most endurable and loved folk acts, Ar Log?s unrivalled musicianship and vocals stirred the Celtic passions at CeltFest. RHYS MEIRION: One of Wales's most gifted tenors, Rhys Meirion,  raised the roof with his powerful versions of well-loved ballads from both sides of the Celtic Sea. Rhys, a rising star of international opera, gave a performance of a lifetime. CALAN: Calan are a dynamic Welsh group of talented young musicians, who performed an energetic and exciting brand of traditional music and songs. Their first album on the Sain label is a stunning debut! NIGEL OWENS: One of the finest Rugby referee's in the world, Nigel Owens  co-hosted and compared CeltFest. His on field presence and off field wit as a presenter will bring a significant rugby dimension to CeltFest. PLUs there was Llanelli Male Voice Choir, Dublin Welsh Male Voice Choir, Pipers, The Cambria Drum Band, Irish Dance Troop, What a great day we should do it again sometime regards to all our friends in Wales and a special thanks to the Cambria Drum band for drumming us onto the stage they are great.    The Tones
