There's only one Tones for Ireland watch out
for the Mono Tone and Fraudulent Misleading Advertising like this...

Tommy Byrne Noel Nagle and Brian Warfield The Wolfe Tones are back on tour in the UK starting in Manchester at St Kentigerns on Saturday the 19th. October. They will wind their way across England Scotland and Wales for the next couple of weeks So make sure you get a chance to see them this time. We all ways look forward to the UK tour said Brian we have made such wonderful friends aver the years and built a great fan base that despite all the pressure for the WolfeTones across the world we will always make time to visit the Irish in Britain. The Tones have been the biggest selling artistes in Ireland over the past three years for instance Rebels and Hero’s last Christmas sold over 57.000 copies making it the biggest selling CD of 2003 beating Bono and Westlife and Madonna. They all had Christmas releases but the Tones went Triple Platinum. This is an extraordinary achievement when you consider that the Tones don’t get the Mainstream coverage of the others. The previous years 2001 and 2 they were the biggest selling Irish artistes of the year winning two double Platinum discs for You’ll Never Beat the Irish and The Best of The WolfeTones live
We have good news for the legion of Wolfie fans this Christmas They have just recorded a new Album it’s a 32 track double CD set for release November 8th. It will tell the story of the Troubles over the last forty years. it’s a long time in the making said Brian the struggle in Ireland is one of the longest the world has ever seen and thank god there are some signs of hope. I’ve written many new songs for the project He Said one about the hope of peace called “This Is The Day” I have also written bury a lament for the victims of the Dublin and Monaghan Bombings - another terrible event etched on our blood stained history. The song of Partition is a song I’m very pleased about it’s a satire which points out the whole absurdity of the situation in the six counties. We go back to the Civil rights struggle of the sixties look at internment in the seventies Hunger strike in the eighties. We look back at songs we sang over the Years like the Guilford Four The Birmingham six. Joe Mc Donnell, Plastic bullets and Bloody Sunday we remember them all.
The importance of the WolfeTones is that they have written new songs over the years and have brought to the public across the world an awareness of the injustices in Ireland. We have a song for each of the nine counties of Ulster and I have written two new ones one called Tyrone and one called the Fermanagh Love song. We include The Star of the County Down and The Green Glens of Antrim Don’t worry we thought of everybody nobody’s left out. We even have the Sash me Father Wore. They are also releasing a DVD with historic imagery which I promise will be great said Brian.

The Tones are now celebrating forty years together and you might say it’s an achievement in itself They are now more successful than ever playing to packed houses where ever they go. They perform for two and a half hours on stage and it’s a show you got to see its passionate lively and will have you clapping and dancing on your feet. They tell the story of Ireland its history Hero’s and Emigrants as only they can with songs they have written themselves. There is one down side said Noel one of the members Derek left the band and tried to make it on his own. It was not successful for him so he recently changed and is advertising himself as the WolfeTones. I don’t know how he thinks he is the Tones all by himself said Tommy remember Brian wrote all the songs I was the lead singer all the hits were either sung by Brian or by me so he must have lost it in his old age. Any how can we warn all and sundry to watch out for misleading and false ads. And if you have been fooled let us know just send an email to our website www.wolfetonesofficialsite.com
